Dear Liverpool Foundation for Education,
On behalf of the entire music department, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous sponsorship of the Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble’s trip to Williamsburg this past weekend. Your support helped make an unforgettable experience possible—both musically and personally—for our students.
We are thrilled to share the outstanding results from the festival:
Awards Received:
-
Gold Award – Symphonic Band & Jazz Ensemble
-
Instrumental Sweepstakes Award – For highest combined instrumental scores from a single school
-
Outstanding Band Award – Highest band score at the event
-
Adjudicator Award – Recognized by judges for exceptional performance (score of 92 or higher)
-
Maestro Awards – Presented to William Sateriale (clarinet) and Emma Bearup (trombone) as standout soloists; both were invited to an international music festival!
-
Ovation Award for Citizenship – Awarded to Samuel Anderson (euphonium) for exemplary character and sportsmanship
-
Festival of Gold Invitation – Based on elite scores (92+), we’ve been invited to perform next year at either the Nashville Symphony Hall or Chicago Symphony Hall!
Beyond the awards, our students displayed remarkable dignity, professionalism, and sportsmanship throughout the weekend. They represented our school and community with pride, and your support was a vital part of that success.
Thank you again for believing in our program and in the power of music education!
