The Foundation was able to provide judges, free meals for volunteers and a concession stand for participants for the Liverpool Vex Robotics Competition held at Liverpool High School on Feb. 5, 2023.

Young Innovators Geared Up for Local Vex Robotics Competition where teams of robot-building students put STEM skill to the test. 40 teams, accompanied by their mentors, competed with and against other schools in a series of back-to-back robot challenges.

The Liverpool VEX Robotics Competition is one of a series of VEX Robotics Competitions taking place internationally throughout the year. Vex Robotics is the world’s fastest growing competitive robotics program for elementary school, middles schools and high schools and colleges around the world.

“The technological economy of the future depends on equipping today’s youth with the tools necessary to become tomorrow’s leading innovators,” said Ray Dromms, a retired Engineer of Welch Allyn/Hill-Rom.
